FEATURES: Compact evergreen shrub has

Leaves are dark green to reddish purple.
Excellent selection for rock gardens,
containers, or low hedges. Does well in
coastal regions.

EXPOSURE: Light shade in hottest climates and
full sun elsewhere.
SOIL: Very well-drained soil.
AVERAGE SIZE: 2-3’ tall and wide.

HARDINESS: Hardy to 23°F, but young plants
should be protected from frost.

FERTILIZER: In early spring, before growth

PRUNING: After bloom, stems that have
flowered can be cut back one-half or trimmed
